As you can probably guess, I had no school the last two months since it was summer break. I had one of the best summers of my life so far, and I honestly wanted to take a break from my blog for certain reasons. Even so, I always caught myself making pretty photos of me, of my surroundings, of my travels, at restaurants - you name it. Once you start seeing things with the eyes of a blogger, you never quite go back, I guess. I enjoy it, and I have no plans of not being a blogger anytime soon. If anything this hiatus made me realize even more how much I'd miss blogging, and also, I can't pinpoint why, but i personally think my new photos look way better than the old.
The streets of Brussels are really pretty, and it's not hard to find places to shoot in. There were plenty of ~urban~ streets that are not too distracting themselves and not full of people.
These photos were made in Brussels (with a certain not-so-professional camera that is built into another portable device that you use every day and are probably addicted to...).
As for why I was in Brussels, I went there with my family for the weekend. It recently dawned on my mom that this is the last school summer break I'll ever have and that, consequently, I probably won't hang around at my parents' house for much longer. So they're trying to spend as much time with me now as they can. We spent the two days just walking around and exploring the city and the culture. If you're wondering what the red bag in my hand is, there's a box of Belgian chocolates inside!
Honest confession: I don't know who will take my photos for me if mama's of my best friend are not around. They're the only ones that keep up with my long and excruciating demands.
Outfitwise, I went for black and red because that's just what has been dominating my closet for the last half year (see:here). All of these clothes I love, because I got them this summer together with my auntie when we went shopping, so they just have more sentimental value to me. Funny story, when I tried them all at the store, I tried these items together without even thinking too much about it. I just wanted to see how they all fit as fast as I can (my attempt at multitasking lol). When I came out of the dressing room, my aunt said "That should be an outfit!". So here we are.
That's all for now. I think I will post some of my summer outfits soon too. Let's just hope it doesn't get so cold that they turn completely irrelevant...
Byeee and I hope to see you next time!
