Haay. It's been a long time with no post! No, I have not ran out of clothes (don't worry, I will never), but I'm still a student and that sometimes gets in the way OF MY LIFE. Sadly, there's only 24 hours in a day, and as annoying as it is, sometimes you just have to get through and invest that time in your academics.
... mmm but I'm back now, so yay for me!
Today me and ma bestie decided to do something laid back and just enjoy our city instead of picking a fancy location (we still ended up in one, see below).
I recently got this cold-shoulder top and ever since I've been super excited to wear it. To it I literally just put on the pants with the highest waist that I own, since, as you can see, the top is quite on the short side. I also decided to wear my hair straight for once, I just felt like I needed some change, and also the curls that I do always look weirdly preppy and vintage, and here I was going for something a little edgier than that.
The brown bag adds a little twist to an outfit where you'd expect to see something black leather. I actually really like the brown of the bag against the gray of the pants, all together with the wine-red shoes. Makes things a little more interesting :)
From these pics you probably can't tell, but it started raining soon after we went out. It was a Sunday, and no shops whatsoever were open and we wondered what to do because there was no way we were going home right after we went out.
One peculiar thing about me, on which you can always rely that it will be that way, is that I love art galleries, or expositions, or museums of any kind. I will spend so much time in front of every single painting and stare at it until I feel like the painter could get his message to me. People get annoyed with me actually, because I'm so slow and I take hours.
But my friend, probably ten times more gifted at art than I'll ever be, is different than most people. And so we decided to go to the city's gallery because it was so near by.
~the photoshoot continued there hihih~
We also took so many goofy photos imitating ancient statues or trolling with contemporary paintings. I think we had fun, in a very sophisicated way, and it was cool!
